TRESemme - Waterless FOAM SHAMPOO!?!?!

TRESemme - Waterless FOAM SHAMPOO!?!?!
for Dry/Curly to Normal Hair
(Oh so my curly hair isn't normal?)
Moisturzing Cleanser with ALOE VERA & CITRUS

There were a couple of other DRY shampoo's and I couldn't figure out which one I wanted to try it. Well when I saw FOAM I think I felt a little more comfortable because I imagined how mousse dissolves in your hair. Then I saw Aloe Vera & Citrus and had to buy it. Mostly ANYTHING with Aloe Vera in my hair will work nicely ... Of course it's not the first set of ingredients, which means it's not in the majority of the mix but I think i'm just really intrigued to see how this works. The other Dry shampoo's that I saw were mostly sprays and I believe they all work the same way, but this is the ony one that's a pump. I'll try it tonight and provide an update since I do have product on my hair today.

Cheapy But Goody!

Fruitopia Shampoo

Because I frequent CVS like a maniac I am always seeing these Shampoo's. They come in a variety of different Flavors, and I believe they range from $2.00 to probably $3.50 Of course I caught mine on sale for 75%  off so what the heck.

Fruitopia - Silk And Shine
Fruitopia - Color Control
Fruitopia - Total Volume
Fruitopia - Curls and Waves
Fruitopia - Acai Berry

The one I decided to pick up was the Acai Berry because I've used products with this particular ingredient before and my hair has loved it. I'm not a big Shampoo person UNLESS I have tons of build up on my hair either from lack of washing or product build up.

This Shampoo I can honestly say I love ... Shocker? I know .. I was prepared to roll my eyes and be done with it but I'm actually a fan and for the cheap price who can beat it. I could tell it leaves a little stripness to your hair but no where NEAR as much as the other higher end shampoo's I've tried. It's a great clarifying shampoo and also moisturizing, this stuff really amazed me .. AND it smells very very good! ...This will definitely become a staple for me.

I got LAZY and decided to just take a picture of the back of the bottle instead of typing up the ingredients!

The Best Two Strand Twist Out

The other side was .. so/so lol

My Review

I picked up this product about two weeks ago because I've been looking for a great moisturizer. When I first started using the product I loved it. The smell is AMAZING and I used it as listed, right out of the shower on damp skin. Immediately I noticed that it made my skin feel very smooth and I thought this would be a staple product for moisturizing.

Well after about the first week my skin started to itch really bad and I had no idea why. I figured it was the soap that I was using but ruled that out since I've been using that for a while. I noticed that only two of my tattoos  started to develop a slight rash and it was the one on my chest  and on my arm, the areas where I used the product. I have many tattoos and those were the only ones that were affected along with other areas of my skin feeling very irritated. I also started to notice small bumps on my stomach. I stopped using the product to see if it was actually the reason and since then I haven't had any skin irritations.

I'm not sure which ingredient in this product my skin doesn't appreciate but it's definitely something. After having a couple of bad experiences with the hair products and now the skin I guess it's safe to say Carol doesn't like me. :) Just kidding I guess I really just have sensitive skin.

So unfortunately as much as I really wanted to like this ... I just couldn't .. jar is still full so I guess i'll let someone else have it and see how it reacts to their skin ..
